Dr Lisa Monrose Assistant Professor, Clinical Skills Department of Clinical Sciences
Dr Lisa Monrose is a St Lucian born Physician who has been a primary care physician for approximately two decades.
She obtained her MBBs from the St Augustine Campus, University of the West Indies (Trinidad) and her Masters and Doctorate in Family Medicine, from Cave Hill Campus, University of the West Indies, Barbados.
She has served as a primary care physician in Barbados and St Lucia both in the private and public health care systems.
Including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Elcourt Clinic.
Presently she serves the southern community of Vieux Fort, St Lucia at the Black Bay Medical Facility.
Dr Monrose has been an educator for many years and currently is an associate professor at the Spartan Health Sciences University; School of Medicine.
She has been the leading consultant to PAHO (Pan American Health Organization), CARPHA (Caribbean Health Agency) and the OECS (Organization of Eastern Caribbean States) on projects such as "CARPA Guidelines for the Management of Diabetes in Primary Care in The Caribbean” and “The Adolescent Tool Kit Project.
